When doctors Alex and Dawn Rockwell opened Rockwell Dentistry in 1992, they both agreed that putting together a practice that would offer patients a wide variety of dental services all under one roof would set them apart from many dentists in the area.

A husband and wife team running a dental practice is not something you see every day, but it is natural for Alex and Dawn. “I first worked as a dentist as an associate in another practice”, said Dr. Alex. “That’s where I met Dawn. She really enjoys doing cosmetic work and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. We are both very lucky people. We love our jobs, and we love coming to the office every day.”

Rockwell Family Dental provides all of the services you would expect from a full service dental practice in one office. Alexander Rockwell, D.M.D., and Dawn Rockwell, D.M.D., are experienced dentists who take pride in providing gentle and affordable care to their patients in a friendly environment. Dr. Alex is a 2nd generation dentist and a grad of Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine where he was trained in the latest cosmetic, surgical and restorative techniques. He graduated in 1990 receiving his DMD degree. In addition he was recognized with citations and awards for his research and skill in the dental field. Since graduation he gave back to the community by volunteering in the Dental Clinic at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Dr. Dawn graduated from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 1991 with a DMD degree. She then completed a residency program at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune New Jersey. This prestigious program gave her a chance to experience dentistry on a hospital level by exposing her to management of severe facial trauma and full mouth reconstruction. This prepared her to deal with any dental emergency.
