About Dr. Dawn Rockwell

A self-described “Jersey Girl,” Dawn Rockwell, DMD, was born in Pennsylvania but grew up in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, spending summers at the Shore — one of her favorite aspects about where she lives. Dr. Rockwell has been calling Mercer and Monmouth counties home since 1991. Along with her husband, Alexander Rockwell, DMD, she provides compassionate dental services to patients of all ages at Rockwell Dentistry’s two locations in Middletown and Hamilton, New Jersey.

Dr. Rockwell earned her doctorate of dental medicine from Temple University, and then spent the following year gaining additional experience to expand her knowledge and expertise. She is proficient in general dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics, and also highly skilled in periodontics, implantology, and acute care.

As an attending doctor at Monmouth Medical Center’s dental clinic in Long Branch, New Jersey, Dr. Rockwell provided training and taught clinical dentistry to dental residents. She maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and as an Invisalign® Preferred Provider, among others.

Dr. Rockwell believes the relationships she builds with her patients are a critical part of their care. As she gains their trust and confidence, she can help them maintain healthy smiles for a lifetime. She takes the time to understand and resolve dental issues, including phobias that stem from childhood, so each patient can have a positive dental experience.

Outside the office, Dr. Rockwell gives back to the community by supporting local animal rescue efforts, sports teams, and as a sponsor for cancer research. Dr. Rockwell also enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Alexander, their twin children Eric and Natasha, and her dog, Fergie. Spending as much time as possible at the beach with her family and going to museums are two of her favorite pastimes.
