The staff at Rockwell Dentistry recognizes how unique each smile and mouth are. We care for each patient individually and offer dental solutions to meet each one’s individual needs.

Many patients lose their teeth through trauma, gum disease, or decay. There are several solutions to fix these embarrassing gaps in your smile.

Dental Solutions: Types of Dentures

Rockwell Dentistry offers several types of dentures to replace gaps caused by missing teeth.  Our staff can discuss which is best for your specific needs.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures restore your smile the day you come to us.  This is a complete or partial denture that is inserted on the same day following the removal of your damaged natural teeth. You will never need to appear in public without teeth.

Impressions of your teeth will be taken and the choice of color and shape for your new teeth will be determined at your first appointment.  At your second appointment, our highly skilled dentists will remove your natural teeth and the denture will be inserted. Dental sedation is available to ease any patient’s anxiety and discomfort during the procedure. Follow up visits will be scheduled to adjust the denture as your gums and jawbone heal. Final relining will be performed three to six months after your procedure to refit your denture to the contour of your jaw and gums.

Removable Partial Dentures

Removable partial dentures replace one or more teeth when there are not enough natural teeth available for a fixed bridge.  They are an alternative to an attached bridge and are created from all acrylic or acrylic with a metal-based to increase the strength of the prosthesis.

Although partials must be worn throughout the day, it is important to remove them at night to prevent dental fungal infections from developing and to allow your gums to relax

Lock-in Dentures

Lock-in dentures are implant-supported dentures that necessitate the placement of dental implants into the upper or lower arch.  Abutments are then screwed into the implants.  Your individually created denture is then positioned on the implants and screwed down for a permanent dental solution.

If you want to stabilize your dentures this is the option to request. This is no need for removing your dentures at night or messy goos to hold them during the day.  There is also no worry of slipping dentures
