Wisdom Teeth Extractions
As humans developed into a modern man, our faces became more slender, and our jaws shorter. Wisdom teeth are a remnant of our ancestors larger jaws. As a result, our wisdom teeth do not have room to erupt into occlusion and must be removed. Dr. Rockwell has over 27 years of experience in Wisdom Tooth Extractions. We take great care in both the actual procedure and in the post-op follow up. At Rockwell Dentistry we do everything possible to make you feel as comfortable as we can for this procedure. We understand how scary it can be.

Cosmetic dentistry procedures can help you do just that, and our team enjoys learning and training in the most up-to-date cosmetic dental treatments and procedures.

Implants (Surgery and Restoration)
Our dental office is equipped to handle every type of dental implant procedure. Dr. Rockwell has a complete inventory on hand to address your individual needs. Implants are surgically placed into your jaw, and then restored with crowns, bridges, dentures, or a combination of all of these.
The implant consists of a titanium screw that replaces the root of a lost or missing tooth. Dental implants come in different lengths and widths for any type of application. 95% of these surgical implant placements are painless, do not require stitches, have minimal if any bleeding or post-op discomfort.

One Visit Root Canal
When a cavity reaches the pulp of a tooth, endodontic therapy or root canal therapy is used. Because your body is unable to treat this type of infection, it must be treated to avoid further issues. If you have a bad taste in your mouth, sensitivity to hot and cold foods and liquids, or are experiencing pain and swelling in your mouth, you may have an infected pulp. During this treatment, the canals of a tooth are cleaned and then sealed to prevent further infections. To restore full function, a crown, bridge, or bonded post may be applied to the infected tooth.
Periodontics
Also known as periodontal disease, gum disease is an infection of the gums surrounding your teeth. It is one of the top causes of tooth loss in adults. Many people do not realize they have periodontal problems because it is virtually pain-free. Regular dental checkups help us monitor your periodontal health and check for any signs of gum disease.
Gum disease is caused by the buildup of bacteria and plaque on the teeth. If this is not removed, it creates toxins that damage the gums. It forms below the gum line and creates pockets that separate the gums from the teeth. Many factors can create a higher risk of gum disease. This includes diabetes, smoking or chewing tobacco use, crooked teeth, certain medications, Diabetes, pregnancy, old fillings, and more. If left untreated, it can cause irreversible bone damage and result in tooth loss.
It is possible to have gum disease and not know it, but there are many symptoms. These include red, swollen tender gums, gums that bleed easily, permanent teeth that are loose or separating, gums that have pulled away from the teeth, pus between your teeth and gums, changes in bite, and more. If you are exhibiting any of these symptoms, it is important you contact our office to schedule an exam. We will work with you to accurately diagnose your symptoms and determine which treatment plan fits your needs. Treatment options include deep cleaning, laser gum surgery, dental implants, and more.
The easiest way to prevent gum disease is to practice good at-home dental health habits and attend regular checkups with your dentist. This can significantly reduce your risk of developing gum disease, tooth loss, and more.

Invisalign™
Rockwell Dentistry is a Certified Invisalign™ Provider. This system provides you with a subtle way to correct imperfections in your smile. It uses removable, custom-made, virtually invisible aligners to correct imperfections and help you achieve the straight, bright smile you’ve been dreaming of. The alignment trays are removable and are worn for two weeks at a time before moving to the next in the series. This system is popular with many patients because it allows them to straighten their teeth without metal braces or an altered diet. Invisalign™ treatments usually last from 9 to 15 months, but it varies from case to case.
Botox™ & Dermal Fillers
Botox™ is a non-surgical procedure that uses a special protein to block overactive nerve impulses, which restricts muscle contractions. This helps relax muscles beneath the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. We use Botox™ for a variety of applications including treating chronic migraines or TMJ, as well as removing fine lines and wrinkles. Whether you are looking to relieve symptoms or want to achieve a more radiant, youthful appearance, Dr. Rockwell is here and ready to help. This is a temporary treatment for patients between age 18 and 65. Results can last between 1 and 6 months.
Dermal fillers offer another option for patients interested in improving the contours of their face. If you have noticed parentheses (smile) lines, corner lines, or vertical lip lines, you may benefit from dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin around your mouth and nose. It is a non-surgical treatment and often only requires just one visit to our office.
If you are interested in more information about Botox™ or Dermal Fillers, please schedule a consultation with Dr. Rockwell. We will answer any questions you have.
